SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED: WASHINGTON D.C. HAS SHORTLISTED STAR AMERICA LED TEAM FOR SMART STREET LIGHTING P3 PROJECT

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Star America Infrastructure Partners, LLC announces DC Smart Lighting Partners II, a team comprised of Star America, Aldridge Electric, Fluor Enterprises, WSP, Chesapeake Electric Systems, Sharp & Company and Business Transformation Group (BTG) has been shortlisted and qualified to provide a proposal for the Washington D.C. Smart Street Lighting P3 Project. The Star America led team is one of 3 teams that will be permitted to respond to the Request for Proposals (RFP) out of the 11 teams who originally submitted qualifications for the opportunity.

The “Safer. Smarter. Greener.” Project will modernize more than 75,000 streetlights in the District by converting them to LED technology and incorporating Smart City technologies including Wireless Access Points to improve quality of life and safety for its residents and visitors.

The RFP for the project will be issued to the shortlisted teams this spring, with final proposals expected to be due later this summer.
