STAR AMERICA ANNOUNCES NEW INVESTMENT DIRECTOR JOSEPH ABITBOL

(NEW YORK) – Star  America Infrastructure Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph Abitbol to the team in Roslyn, New York.  Joseph will be taking on the role of Investment Director.

Earlier in 2019 Joseph had been retained to work on the Digital Crossroads Data Center project for Star America where he is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the project.  Previously, he worked at AECOM Capital P3, where he led the successful financial closing of the I-75 Segment 3 Project in Michigan. 

Prior to AECOM Capital P3, he worked as a Director at SG Americas Securities LLC in the infrastructure and asset-backed financing team, originating, structuring, and advising on more than $17 billion worth of project finance transactions. Joseph was also in charge of developing the Latin America business. Landmark transactions that he worked on include A-25 Highway, I-595 Improvement Project, Port of Miami Tunnel, Nouvelle Autoroute 30, South Fraser Perimeter Road, Winsor Essex Parkway, Portsmouth Bypass, Metro de Lima, and Santiago Airport.

In addition to transportation infrastructure, Joseph is also involved in the broader spectrum of infrastructure including the social and telecommunications sectors.
