Taimur is a seasoned private equity investor and operator with over 12 years of professional experience. Most recently, he was with TZP Group where he sourced and executed buyout investments across the business and consumer service sectors and supported portfolio companies as a board member and executive advisor. During his time at TZP, Taimur led the firm’s Impact Investing strategy, focusing on themes such as sustainability, economic opportunity, and health and wellness. Prior to TZP, Taimur was an investment professional at Bridges Fund Management where he executed buyout transactions and provided C-suite support to mission-driven firms addressing social and environmental challenges. Taimur began his career as a consultant in the Business Valuation group at Deloitte where he advised clients on valuations in connection with M&A diligence, financial reporting, strategic planning, and legal matters.
Taimur received a B.S. in finance and accounting from New York University Stern School of Business and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, both with honors distinctions.
