Cody Baira joined Star America in 2021 as an Associate in the Asset Management division. Mr. Baira focuses on investment valuations, performance reporting, and project management. Mr. Baira works alongside Star America’s Asset Management and Investment teams to identify risks and value creation opportunities in portfolio investments. Mr. Baira is also involved in the firm’s ESG initiatives.
Prior to joining Star America, Mr. Baira spent six years as an equity research analyst, first at Miller/Howard Investments and then at Rose Advisors – A Hightower Company. During his time as an equity research analyst, Mr. Baira was engaged throughout the investment and portfolio management process and was directly responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and recommending equity investments for value focused equity strategies.
Mr. Baira holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ithaca College with concentrations in Finance and International Business.
