STAR AMERICA ANNOUNCES FINAL CLOSE OF FUND II

January 7, 2022

(Roslyn Heights, NY) – Star America, a subsidiary of Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset manager group, is pleased to announce the final close of Star America Infrastructure Fund II, a North American greenfield infrastructure focused fund. The fund closed with $700 million of capital commitments, exceeding its $600m target.

This marks Star America Infrastructure Partners’ largest fund raise to date, with Fund II ending at more than double the size of Fund I ($300m).

“We are pleased with the strong demand and solid fundraise and being able to exceed the fund’s target, but most importantly we take pride in having been able to attract marquee names on a global basis across large institutions and pension funds, Taft-Hartley plans, foundations, family offices, and qualified high-net-worth individuals,” said Christophe Petit, President of Star America.

“I would like to thank the investors for their trust and support. Over the past decade, we have built a strong infrastructure franchise in North America, and I am happy to see this was able to resonate with some of the largest institutions in the world,” said Bill Marino, Chief Executive Officer of Star America.

M2O Private Fund Advisors LLC acted as Star America’s placement firm for Fund II in the United States and Canada, and First Avenue Partners LLP and FAP USA, L.P. acted as Star America’s placement firms for Fund II in all territories globally other than the United States and Canada.
